🐾🐾🧡Hello cheer families, fittings for cheer uniforms will be held this Thursday and Friday from 5:30pm-7:30pm and Saturday from 10:30am-12:30pm at Howland Glen behind the school in shaded area. For fitting purposes, please dress your cheerleader in tight-fitting clothes. If participating in the fundraiser, kindly bring the total amount of $241 ($230 for registration and uniform and $11 for bow). Payment is required for uniform orders. Additional Bows can be ordered at the cost of $11 each. Thank you so much can’t wait to see everyone this year.🧡🧡🐾

📢 Don't forget to register!!

Football players and cheerleaders MUST be 6 years old as of May 1st in order to participate

Practices start Monday, July 6th from 6-8pm at Howland Glen. Practices are Monday-Thursday. Cheer practices in the grass at the front of the building. Football practices in the field behind the building.

Games start in August and will usually be on Sundays with couple Saturday games possible.

Game times :
Squiggs (6-8yr olds) 1 pm
PeeWees (9-10yr olds) 2 pm (tentative)
Midgets (11-12yr olds) 3 pm (tentative)

Sign those Little Tigers Football players up! 🏈

Join our players, coaches, and alumni for our 4th Annual Howland Tiger Football Youth Camp.

Camp will again be hosted at Lombardo Field on June 8 - 10 for students entering grades 1st through 8th. Youth Camp is open to all students regardless of residence, and includes a Howland Tiger Football t-shirt.

Registration for the camp can be found using the QR code on the flyer! We look forward to seeing you at camp, and Go Tigers! 🐅🏈

📣 🏈 2026 HLT Football and Cheer Registration Information 🏈 📣

Registration will open May 1st on our website www.howlandlittletigers.com

🏈 Football registration will run through the beginning of July.
📣 Cheer registration will run through June 1st!

🐾 Registration will be available for Howland residents, those open enrolled to Howland Local Schools and those who attend JFK. HLT WILL NOT be accepting any out of town registrations at this time.

Participants must be 6 - 12 years old as of May 1st

‼️For the 2026 season‼️
Football players and Cheerleaders will have two different options to pay for the cost of registration!

🐾Option #1 is by getting "sponsors" to purchase blocks-similar to a calendar fundraiser where "sponsors" will purchase a date and pay that amount (think family, friends, neighbors, parent/guardian's coworkers, etc).

🏈 Football players will need to sell blocks 1 through 20 to cover their full registration cost.
📣 Cheerleaders will need to sell blocks 1 through 21 to cover their full registration cost. Cheerleaders who sell all 21 blocks will receive fluffed pom poms with their uniforms. Hair bows will be a separate purchase for $11 each.

🐾 Attached to this post are the block images that will be used for the season. Parents/Guardians may save/print them and begin getting sponsors as early as you'd like.
**Parents/Guardians are responsible for any blocks not purchased**

🐾 Option #2 You may opt-out of selling the blocks and pay the full registration cost. Registration cost is $210 for Football and $230 for Cheer (plus the cost of bow-$11)

HLT is also still accepting applicants for football and cheer coaches. If interested, please send an email to [email protected] with your Name, Contact information, any experience, and whether you are interested in being Head Coach or Assistant Coach and whether you're interested in coaching Football or Cheer. 🐅

Congratulations to HLT's new Board for the 2026-2027 Football and Cheer seasons

The organization is in need of a volunteer for the Athletic Director position. The Athletic Director is in charge of the football coaching staff as well as handles weigh ins for game days. The AD also handles the football equipment and football jerseys. Anyone interested is asked to please message the page or send an email to [email protected]

At the Trustee meeting next week, HLT Trustees will be voting on all board positions for the 2026 and 2027 football and cheer seasons.

Anyone interested in holding a volunteer board position for the next 2 seasons is encouraged to send an email to [email protected] with your name and which position you are interested in. Nominations can also be emailed to [email protected].

Board positions include: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Athletic Director and Cheer Director.
Many of HLT's current board will be moving on due to their children moving up to Middle School sports next year. Volunteers are vital for the continuation of the organization.

Those interested in holding a board position will attend the meeting next week. Date, time and location will be shared with all potential candidates.
