Fun fact, did you know that Jolene here is our oldest fur farm rescued fox! She’s 9 years old this year and she was saved by Mikayla from Ethan Frankamp

This is stealing content from us, Pawsitive Beginnings, SAVEAFOX and other rescues!
Please go report them and comment this is ALL stolen content! They have 21k followers and probably lots of bots but this STEALS in so many ways form the foxes.

Because how the algorithm works is comments and views add up to donations for scammers!

PLEASE HELP US AND OTHER RESCUES REPORT THEM AS FRUAD AND SCAMMERS AND COMMENT THESE ARE STOLEN CONTENT FROM LEGIT Rescues Who ACTUALLY CARE FOR THESE FOXES

Today we’re sharing our one and only Dolly 🦊
She was lovingly named after the rhinestone queen herself — Dolly Parton.

With the very sad passing of Dolly Parton, we wanted to show our love and honor her through our little girl who carries her name.

As a child of the ’80s who grew up in the ’90s and early 2000s, Dolly Parton was always a sparkly, beautiful reminder that you can become so much more than you ever imagined. She was a magnificent light for the world — through her music, her acting, and simply by being her remarkable self. We feel the loss of this beautiful woman 🩷

We hope our little Miss Dolly can add a little sunshine and comfort for anyone else feeling this loss.

Daphne Fox is very assertive in how she shows affection 🧡

This is how she plays and loves. It’s completely normal for her and she’s not being aggressive or upset with me at all.

Foxes use their mouths as a way of communicating. There are many ways they do it—they’ll hold onto you as a way of claiming you and, in a sense, saying “you’re mine”. Foxes will give little nibbles too and explore with their mouths. It can be a dominant move in certain situations, and it can turn aggressive if they choose to bite because your hand is invading their personal space.

I also took this time to help her finish shedding her winter coat. She’s decided a nice mane up front is the way to go this year though 😘🦊

It’s been attack of the yellow jackets 🐝 this summer.

I feel like I’m living in a horror movie where we get rid of them and poof—more appear the next day, complete with tiny pitchforks and torches, ready to attack.

Last week we found a nest in two hay bales and did our thing to take care of them.

Side note: We do have honey bees on site, and yellow jackets will kill them. So we’ve got to protect our little friends! They can (and will) sting the foxes too, and believe it or not, foxes can die from anaphylactic shock if they’re allergic. Keeping everyone safe is non-negotiable.

Everyone’s been okay so far… except us humans, who’ve taken a few hits.

Felix here seems to have forgiven my rather abrupt approach when we crated him and Ophelia last week. He was all loves and being the goodest boy 🥰 and we’ll always happily oblige to giving him all the pets!
