Ride For Another Chance

Ride For Another Chance Recovery from addiction is about taking responsibility- about living in the solution rather than the provlem.

This fund was created in response to a changing economy that saw a severe decline in employment, therefore insurance coverage for families affected by addictive disorder. Staying consistent with that philosophy, we are committed to raising funds through this and other initiatives for uninsured and under-insured families impacted by addictive disorders.

Wonderful day! Thank you to all of our riders, volunteers, board members, and donors. We enjoyed beautiful weather for our ride, then a fantastic pig roast. Special thanks to the Broken Arrow Blues Band for your wonderful music, Sober Riders for all the help, and Maplegrove staff for your hospitality! Because of this, there are people suffering from the disease of alcoholism who will get ANOTHER CHANCE.

Final thoughts before our big event: pride to see this idea come to fruition and gain the means to give those in need a helping hand into treatment, bridging that gap to a life of freedom; overwhelming gratitude for those who have helped us get here, through hard work and donations; and excitement for the possibility of many lives we can touch through this organization. 36 hours and counting! Join us Saturday at our first public event- a poker run starting at Maplegrove followed by a pig roast and music! The weather looks like it will be wonderful! We are looking forward to a great day and a great opportunity to offer some help to those who need it!

Another meeting, a few more steps towards our ride on Saturday! Everything seems to be falling into place- a lot of help from a higher power and HARD work from our board members and volunteers! Saturday will be a GREAT day! Join us!

A couple of our board members ran the route yesterday- its going to be a beautiful journey next Saturday! Not a lot of construction, not too much freeway time, just a peaceful drive around our beautiful Michigan! We are very excited about our first event next weekend!
