I’m feeling incredibly grateful today for our community and the business owners who came together. You all have shown so much heart, generosity, and commitment — and because of that collective spirit, we’ve been honored as Volunteer Organization of the Year.

This award isn’t about recognition; it’s a reflection of every hour invested, every partnership formed, every neighbor helped, and every business that stepped up to make a difference. You’ve proven that when a community comes together with purpose, amazing things happen.

Thank you for your support, your encouragement, and your belief in the work we did. I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished together. Countless donors and over 50 local businesses made this happen!

This is your award as much as anyone’s, and you’ve truly earned it.

One more day of service and its major! The weather is finally lovely and we get to give Harvey a yard! Please show up and help spread sod!

Harvey’s keepsakes and memorable items from the old house were cleaned and stored these last 9-10 months at Howe Mini-Storage, at no charge.

Today, those keepsakes made their way home, courtesy of some Howe Bulldogs who stopped by after school today. They will have the dust knocked off of them and Harvey will start bringing his memories into his new house.

When the boys got ready to leave they all took a minute to shake Harvey’s hand and allowed him to express his gratitude to them.

One of the final touches! Door to door concrete patio for Harvey, 6x20!! His backyard is beautiful and peaceful and new furniture makes it comfortable. Thank you to corporate quickrete and Carson Gibbs and Hayden Calhoun for making this happen in the 11th hour!

Super productive day today at Harvey's Blessing Build! Carson Gibbs Elena Dutcher and I cleaned, hung up blinds, assembled a bed, painted and started unpacking! Micah Melissa Window Cleaning did the most amazing job!

Grateful Beyond Words 🙏

As we near the end of this incredible journey, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. What began back in January as a simple, noble idea has grown into something far greater than we ever imagined — a brand new home built through faith, love, and the generosity of so many hands and hearts.

This project has reminded us again and again that when God is in charge, amazing things happen. Every challenge became an opportunity, every obstacle a lesson, and every act of kindness a brick in the foundation of hope.

To everyone who gave, served, prayed, or simply believed in the vision — thank you. You have made a lasting difference, not only in the life of Harvey Morris, but in all of us who witnessed God’s faithfulness unfold.

Words cannot express how excited our family is to be announcing that one week from today will be an Open House for Harvey's Blessing Build prior to us moving him in. There are so many people who made this happen and there will be more posts and news about them. The doors will be open, Harvey may or may not be there, depending on how he feels. But we'd like to show you in person the end result from a most generous group of business owners and citizens in the community. It may not be completely finished but it will be close enough! The street will be blocked off, and parking is permitted on both sides!
