💗 VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT: MEET BONNIE! 💗

Bonnie has been volunteering with Compassion in Action since the very beginning! 🫶

Not only does she help sort and hang clothing, but she also finds a creative way to give new life to T-shirts that are too soiled or torn to be offered to our guests. Instead of sending them to the landfill, Bonnie transforms them into reusable bags for our guests to use while they shop! ♻️🛍️

Bonnie is a wonderful example of how creativity, compassion, and a willing heart can make a difference in so many ways.

💙 228 POUNDS OF CLOTHING GIVEN TO THOSE IN NEED! 💙

Last Tuesday, Compassion in Action provided 228 pounds of clothing to individuals in need! 🙌

The before-and-after photos of our hanger boxes are just one small example of the BIG impact Compassion in Action is making in our community.

Every donation, every volunteer, and every act of kindness makes a difference. Together, we’re putting compassion into action, one person at a time! 💕

💙 A Little Time. A Lot of Heart. 💙

Today we want to give a HUGE thank-you to one of our amazing volunteers who pours so much love into the cards she creates for our guests. 💌

Each card is handmade with care and is more than just a piece of paper—it’s a little reminder to someone that they are seen, valued, loved, and not alone. 💕

We are so grateful for volunteers who use the gifts and talents they already have to make a difference in the lives of others. ✨

And here’s the best part… volunteering with us can look like so many different things!

You don’t have to have a lot of free time.
You don’t have to know exactly what you want to do.
You don’t have to have a special skill.

Maybe you love making cards.
Maybe you enjoy organizing.
Maybe you’re great at encouraging people.
Maybe you can help sort donations, prepare supplies, serve at an event, or simply lend a helping hand.
