Donations and Memorials for the “HLWW Blue and Gold Scholarship” are always welcome

We’ve had several people ask how they can make a contribution to the local scholarship program. This is for former graduates, parents, grandparents, and community members --- who may want to contribute $20, $50, or $100 toward a scholarship.

The HLWW Laker Blue and Gold Scholarship was established just for this purpose. This is money from personal contributions. This scholarship will be awarded each year to a promising HLWW senior. A student who was active in school activities and wishes to further their education at a college or vocational school.

Making a memorial in memory of a loved one --- is another way to contribute to this scholarship. This year we have received memorials in memory of Lois Engel and Steve Weber. And those have been added to the Laker Blue and Gold Scholarship.

If this is something you would like to contribute to, send a check to the following address:

Laker Blue and Gold Scholarship
HLWW High School
PO Box 708
Howard Lake, MN 55349

This is a great way to show your support of our local students. And your donation is tax deductible.

Mark your check “Blue and Gold Scholarship.” Donations can also be given to Marilyn Greeley in the HLWW Business Office.

Laker Blue and Gold Scholarship

We’ve had former HLWW graduates and community members ask if there is a way they can contribute money to a scholarship --- without creating a new scholarship of their own.

So we have created the “Laker Blue and Gold Scholarship”. This scholarship is being totally funded by personal contributions. This is for people who want to make a one-time donation of $20, $50, or $100 toward a scholarship.

The Blue and Gold Scholarship will be awarded each year to a promising HLWW senior. A student who was active in school activities and wishes to further their education at a college or vocational school. If you would like to contribute to this scholarship, send a check to the following address:

Laker Blue and Gold Scholarship
HLWW High School
PO Box 708
Howard Lake, MN 55349

This is a great way to show your support of our local students.

The HLWW Scholarship Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation, so we can provide a receipt for tax purposes. Retirees can also make a contribution using their RMD (required mandatory disbursements from retirement accounts).

Mark your check “Blue and Gold Scholarship.” Donations can also be given to Marilyn Greeley in the HLWW Business Office. Feel free to reach out to Lissa Gatz with questions or if you want to explore setting up your own scholarship.

🌟Contributions for HLWW Laker Scholarships🌟

We’ve had several people ask how they can make a contribution to the local scholarship program. This is for former graduates, parents, and community members --- who may want to contribute $20, $50, or $100 (or more) toward a scholarship that is already established.

So the HLWW Scholarship Foundation has established the “Laker Blue & Gold Scholarship”. This is a scholarship supported by personal contributions. Based upon the number of contributions, one or two scholarships will be awarded each year to promising HLWW seniors. Students who were active in school activities and wish to further their education at a college or vocational school. If this is something you would like to do, send a check to the following address:

Laker Blue and Gold Scholarship
HLWW High School
PO Box 708
Howard Lake, MN 55349

This is a great way to show your support of our local students.

Mark your check “Blue and Gold Scholarship.” Donations are tax deducible, so please let us know if you want a receipt for tax purposes. Donations can also be given to Marilyn Greeley in the HLWW Business Office.
