Our annual "Scouting for Food" event is this weekend. The food drive benefits the local food bank in Houtzdale. The scouts were busy this morning putting out bags on doors in Houtzdale and the surrounding areas. If you got a bag, please place any non-perishable food you want to donate in the bag, and place the bag in a location visible from the road. The scouts will be out tomorrow, Sunday October 27th, around 1pm to pick up the bags. We are a small group this year, and we didn't get as many bags out as usual. If you didn't get a bag, and would like to donate food, we will have a truck parked in the parking lot beside Tanner's Hardware tomorrow from 1-2pm. You can bring your donation by and place it in the back of the truck and we will deliver the food to the food bank. Thank you in advance for your generous dontations.
