We have to say thank you to everyone that helped our Back-to-School Event be the success that it was. We are grateful for the help and that we were able to help those in our community in a small way. We will be praying for a successful start to the new year for all students!

Please be aware that a localized storm came through Houtzdale Days earlier today. Reach out to any vendors and make sure you come back tonight to support them as they recover from the storm. If you're working/helping to get setup and need to cool off, stop in at the Wreck Center for a few minutes.

Parade information for the Houtzdale-Ramey Fire Company parade this Saturday!

🚨IMPORTANT PARADE INFORMATION🚨

‼️Please Share and Tag Anyone Needing This Info‼️

Our Annual Parade will be this Saturday July 26th @ 6:00PM. Lineup will begin at 4 PM.

Some Key Points:

1. Don Street will be one way traffic starting at 4:00PM. You will not be able to access Don Street from SR53 or Elizabeth Street. Please do not attempt, as you will not be able to.

2. FLOATS‼️ Your lineup will be slightly changed this year. Please access Don Street from Emery Avenue (Near SCI Houtzdale). Once to Don Street, make a left, and you will be directed onto 1st Avenue for your lineup position. PLEASE DO NOT ACCESS FROM SR 53. You will not be permitted to access that way.

3. FIRE APPARATUS🔥 Please access Don Street from Emery Avenue (Near SCI Houtzdale). Make a left and fill in line along Don Street. Please park as far to the right as possible, to allow floats to pass by.

4. Bands will remain the same, as you will be lineup up near Jacob George Ford Sales.

5. American Legion Honor Guard will be granted permission to stage at the Penn Highlands Rural Health Clinic, and lead the parade as years past.

6. ‼️‼️‼️PARENTS‼️‼️‼️ When dropping your child off for their float, please follow the instructions for floats above. Fire Police will be in position to direct you in the right direction.

Please everyone respect our Fire Police. They are here voluntarily. Recently there was an incident where one of our Fire Police Members was involved, and State Police needed to respond. Their and EVERYONES safety is our priority.
