San Antonio, TX - May 16th, 2026
It’s time to register for the upcoming AEG Texas Spring Meeting on May 16, 2026. We will have Gregg Eckhardt from the San Antonio Water System (SAWS) giving us a deep dive into SAWS operations, the Edwards Aquifer, and SAWS desalination and brackish water projects.
Gregg Eckhardt is an environmental scientist with 37 years of experience in environmental modeling and analysis, water resource planning and development, state and federal permitting, and water treatment.
He is known as The Nerd King of South Texas Water History.
As Senior Analyst for the San Antonio Water System, he is involved in the planning, operations, and management of the city’s water supply and wastewater.
Afterwards, join us for a guided field trip to the H2Oaks Center, home to three water supplies: desalinated water, aquifer storage and recovery, and the local Carrizo Aquifer, all operated from the H2Oaks control room!
