Environmental Projects of Houston
Houston, TX - March 7th, 2026
Register for the upcoming AEG Texas Winter meeting on March 7, 2026. We will have speakers from Rice University and TEPA Companies to discuss research into PFAS as well as PFAS contamination and remediation. Better known as “forever chemicals”, PFAS are contained in common everyday products. Regulations exist for some disposal protocols but not yet for drinking water standards. Join us in learning about how we are exposed to PFAS, what PFAS do to us, and what is being done to remediate PFAS. Afterwards, join us for a guided field trip to the Kinder Land Bridge located in Memorial Park. The Kinder Land Bridge was constructed to provide a safe passage for humans and wildlife across Memorial Drive.
The Field Trip will be a walking tour. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
