Meet our Social Media & Communications Chair: Michelle Andrea
Michelle Andrea is a Venezuelan-American mixed media artist. Life between cultures is a perspective that deeply informs her exploration of identity, heritage, hope, tradition, and belonging through faceless figures that transform everyday scenes into alternate realities shaped by color and form. She holds a BFA in Painting from the Herron School of Art + Design Indianapolis, IN and a Master’s in Art & Cultural Management from Universitat Internacional de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain. Andrea’s work is held in both private and public collections, such as Eskenazi Health Grande Campus, which acquired her First Encounter with Snow series in 2023, and The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, which commissioned her Dance Triptych in 2017. Her creative contributions have been highlighted in publications such as Voyage Houston (2025), the Indianapolis Recorder, IndyStar, and the Yellow Cube Paris Gallery catalog.

Michelle Andrea es una artista venezolana-estadounidense que trabaja con técnicas mixtas. Vivir entre culturas le aporta una perspectiva que influye profundamente en su exploración de la identidad, el legado, la esperanza, la tradición y el sentido de pertenencia; lo hace a través de figuras sin rostro que transforman escenas cotidianas en realidades alternativas moldeadas por el color y la forma. Posee una Licenciatura en Bellas Artes (BFA) con especialización en Pintura por la Herron School of Art + Design de Indianápolis (Indiana) y un Máster en Gestión Cultural y Artística por la Universitat Internacional de Catalunya en Barcelona (España). La obra de Andrea forma parte de colecciones públicas y privadas, como la de Eskenazi Health Grande Campus —que adquirió su serie *First Encounter with Snow* en 2023— y la del Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, que le encargó su *Dance Triptych* en 2017. Sus aportaciones creativas han sido destacadas en publicaciones como *Voyage Houston* (2025), *Indianapolis Recorder*, *IndyStar* y el catálogo de la galería Yellow Cube Paris.

Peggie Pentecost is a REALTOR®️ leader, mentor, and advocate for Women’s Council and Women in real estate. She has served in nearly every position with the council at the Local, State and was the 2024 National Liaison for the Western region. She currently is serving on the Houston Association of Realtors®️ Board of Directors and as the 2025 LIDS Chair for Women’s Council of REALTORS®️ Texas, she is passionate about empowering members to step into leadership with confidence, purpose, and collaboration.
