Children Like Loni was established in 2015 to highlight the life of Loni Mackey and children like her. Loni was diagnosed with Chromosome 1 and 7 Deletions at birth, which is a genetic disorder that limited most of her vital functions. Loni always wore a smile on her face, expressed love from her heart, and never became discouraged. Loni was brave, strong, resilient, compassionate, and most import

antly loving. Her favorite activities included dancing, eating, taking selfies, and arts and crafts. Loni, like others, was a major influence in the lives of everyone she met despite her disability. Thus, this organization works graciously to offer assistance to children who are like Loni and their families.

👀 Psst! Have you heard the latest buzz? There's a community food pantry opening today just for our Seniors 60+ from 4 PM to 6 PM! And guess what? The general public can swing by on Thursdays from 12 PM to 2 PM—no zip code drama here!

It's happening at Nueva Vida Church (you know, that place at 18060 Kieth Harrow). They’re giving away all kinds of goodies like meat, fresh produce, eggs, bread, and more!

In loving memory of Ms. Alice, a devoted volunteer whose spirit touched the hearts of everyone she met. For seven years, Ms. Alice dedicated her time and energy to our community pantry, always ready with a warm greeting and a heartfelt prayer for those in need. Her kindness knew no bounds, as she lent a helping hand whenever asked, embodying the true essence of service.

Ms. Alice made a promise to our CEO that she would stand by CLL until the end, and she honored that commitment with unwavering loyalty. She was not just a volunteer; she was a cherished friend to many, including her beloved “guys,” Alfred and Sebastian, who were fortunate to have her guidance and love.

Through her prayers, Ms. Alice played a significant role in the growth of Children Like Loni, even when we were unaware of the depth of her support. She consistently lifted this organization in her thoughts and prayers, contributing to the positive impact we see today.

As we remember Ms. Alice, let us celebrate her legacy of compassion and selflessness. Her impact on our community will be felt for years to come, and her spirit will continue to inspire us all. Rest in peace, dear Ms. Alice. You will be dearly missed.

Community Food Pantry Hours This Week!

We are excited to share that our Community Food Pantry, powered by Children Like Loni, is here to serve our neighbors with fresh foods! We offer a variety of items, including meat, fruits, vegetables, eggs, bread, desserts, and hygiene supplies. Best of all, we are not zip code restricted, so everyone is welcome!

🗓️ This Week’s Schedule:
- Seniors 60+: Wednesday from 4 PM - 6 PM
- General Public: Thursday from 12 PM - 2 PM

Join us and our wonderful partner, Nueva Vida Church, as we serve our seniors aged 60 and above with fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, eggs, and delicious desserts from our client's choice station!
