es of Alaska's dangerous Dalton Highway, in winter, to raise awareness for children battling pediatric cancer. Traversing the world's 10th most dangerous road Kline and his crew face a hostile environment of -40F temperatures on a road made of ice in near total darkness to run an 8lb backpack full of childhood cancer names to the virtual top of the world. A native Texan, Jordan Orsak began FilmPro Inc. in 2014 as a production company focusing on commercial and independent video projects in the Austin area. In 2018, Filmpro moved its operations to include productions in Los Angeles, CA. Orsak’s passion for story telling allowed him to expand his reach to include projects like short form movies, music videos, and the documentary Delivering Hope. Kline retired after 30 years as a radio broadcaster, the final 16 spent as morning co-host on #1 rated country radio show “The Q Morning Zoo” on The New 93Q in Houston, TX. He has since moved back to Springfield, where he previously worked at Channel Z and US97, but more importantly, where he met his wife of 25 years, Springfield Catholic and Drury University graduate, Trish Kline (nee: Snider). He and Trish founded Snowdrop Foundation for pediatric cancer research and to provide college scholarships for childhood cancer patients and survivors. To date, the organization has donated over $5.3 million for pediatric cancer research and patient college scholarships
Kline’s running career began with 1st marathon on January 14, 2007. Since then, has finished over 200 total marathons/ultramarathons in all 50 states and on 4 continents. DELIVERING HOPE is the 2nd feature-length documentary about his running for childhood cancer awareness. The film DEAR CHELSEY, released in 2012, chronicles his 13-day, 482-mile solo run across Texas. Has been featured in Runner’s World Magazine, and covered by CNN, worldwide newspapers, various Podcasts, TV newscasts (Dallas, Waco, San Antonio, Houston, St. Louis, Anchorage, Fairbanks) and will soon appear in an episode of ABC’s Localish. In 2019, we set off to create a film to generate greater awareness for a disease. What we ultimately cultivated became a 2-year story about incredible human triumph and an unlikely family coming together for a cause much bigger than themselves. Delivering Hope is a heart-tugging story about one man's determination to end childhood cancer despite unbelievable odds.
