Cooking up Creativity and Community!!!!🍽️

Our Culinary Arts Lab brought together culture, imagination, and hands-on learning as our kids explored the art of cooking. Every recipe became a STEM moment, measuring, chemistry, temperature, technique all blending into a creative practice that teaches problem‑solving, precision, and confidence.

We’re grateful to Houston In Color for supporting this program and helping us nourish and inspire the next generation of young makers through the arts.

An extra thank you to the teaching artists who facilitated such a great experience for our students. Thank you Ms. Jeanvieve, Ms. Alexis & Ms. Tyler. We appreciate you!

✨ Stitching creativity into community ✨ 

Our Sewing Lab brought together imagination, culture, and hands-on learning as our kids explored the art of sewing. Every thread sown was STEM in action. Measuring, designing, engineering, problem‑solving… all woven into a creative practice that empowers young makers to see themselves as innovators.

We’re deeply grateful to Houston In Color for supporting this program and helping us nurture creativity, confidence, and representation through the arts.  

Special shoutout to teaching artists Natavia and Jeanvieve for facilitating such an great experience for the community!

Our Visual Creativity Workshop at Carter Academy has the 2nd grade art studehts exploring their creativity with our mask project!!! The colorful cat masks were a beautiful addition to their art exhibit!!

Our 3rd year with Burbank Elementary, and the artistic fun keeps growing and growing!!!.

This year, we were given the opportunity to host our Dance Creativity Workshop for the 2nd & 3rd graders. The kids had a blast dancing and creating concepts and choreography together!!

Thank you, Mr. Perez, for a great collaborative experience again this year. Working with you and your administrative team has been such a pleasure. We look forward to another year building together!

Thank you, Carter Elementary (AldineISD) for the opportunity to host our Visual Arts Creativity Workshop for your art students.

It was such a pleasure giving the 1st graders the opportunity to create their own butterflies for their butterfly exhibit!!

We are honored to have the opportunity to serve Aldine ISD with Fine Arts programming this year. Our first engagement was at the Knippel Education Center, where we hosted a four-week Visual Arts Creativity Workshop for students in grades 9-12.

This workshop provided a creative space for students to explore their unique individuality and the positive community impact they can make when collaborating with others.

Thank you, Knippel Education Center for allowing us to share our love for art with these great group of students, and to our visual arts teaching artists who always do a phenomenal job in bringing out the best in the students!!
