Our very first Spill Feature was intimate, intentional, and full of heart.

came and spilled her art owt in a way that reminded us why we built this space in the first place — she explored the duality of love with softness and strength, and it was beautiful to witness up close.

California born and raised, now rooted in Houston for the last three years. Her poetry journey began on a Las Vegas stage, where she first learned the power of spilling truth out loud. She is a member of Poet Now Loading and the visionary curator behind Spill Your Art Owt. Her work is grounded in vulnerability, healing, and creating safe spaces for artists to be seen and heard.

Jarrell Carter

Chicago born and raised, now calling Houston home for the past three years. His poetry journey started on a Mississippi stage, where he first discovered the joy of sharing his voice. He is a member of Poet Now Loading and a proud man of Omega Psi Phi. He brings an energetic, enthusiastic, and warm spirit that makes the room feel welcoming from the moment you walk in.
