On June 4th, we celebrated our incredible volunteers at our Volunteer Appreciation Night! 🎉

It was a wonderful evening dedicated to recognizing and thanking all of our volunteers for their hard work, dedication, and support throughout the year. We are so grateful for everything you do to help our community thrive. ❤️

The night was filled with fun, laughter, and friendly competition as we tested our knowledge with French culture and Francophone trivia on Kahoot, played bingo, and sang our hearts out during karaoke! 🎤🎶

Thank you to each and every volunteer for your time, energy, and commitment.
We couldn't do it without you!

🎶 Meet Rachel Chao & Andrew Wheeler, two extraordinary musicians joining us for our first-ever Fête de la Musique!

🎹 Rachel Chao is a Taiwanese-born pianist who has performed throughout the United States, Canada, and Taiwan, appearing at prestigious venues including Carnegie–Weill Recital Hall, Houston Wortham Center, and Houston Hobby Center. A highly respected collaborative artist, she has worked with Houston Grand Opera, Houston Ballet, and Mercury, and has served as a staff pianist at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music since 2009.

🎷 Andrew Wheeler, a Texas native and Principal Saxophonist of the Brazos Valley Symphony, spent a decade performing with The United States Navy Band in Washington, D.C., where he played for five U.S. Presidents and audiences across 48 states. Today, he continues to inspire audiences as a performer, recording artist, and arts leader.

Experience their remarkable talent live as part of a vibrant evening celebrating music, culture, and community.
