Pretty Girlz Rock, is a non-profit organization geared for girls ages 11-17, to help them through the growing pains of life, to help them become a successful and productive young women. We want to help
them to understand the gifts and
talents they have been blessed with,
without compromise. In addition,
PGR supports girls in their process of
recovery for all types of abuse. We
aim to provide young

girls with a
heads up by equipping them with the
knowledge they need to successfully
function in today’s society. Ultimately, our goal is to have the
young ladies that complete the retreat
recommend it to someone else due to
the positive influence it has made in
their own personal lives. The annual retreat is designed to aid middle to
high school age girls and prepare
each of them for the upcoming year
as well as what may lie ahead in life.

Black Girl Day Off is on Friday, October 11, 2024. The day is a celebration of Black women and girls' well-being, and a call to prioritize their mental health and emotional well-being.

Black Girl Day Off was founded in 2020 by Tomeka Casanova to recognize the impact of stress on Black women's health. The day is meant to promote healthier lives for Black women by encouraging them to take time for rest, reflection, and self-care.

Today is Black Girl Day Off, a day dedicated to promoting health involvement in black communities to close the gap in health inequalities.
