Parents in May be like…
• Wait… school is basically over already?
• I still haven’t signed up for camps.
• Why does every activity start at 9am sharp?
• This summer better wear these kids OUT.
• Snacks. We need more snacks.
• I came for the music, stayed for the AC.
• One more week until ‘Mom, I’m bored.’
• Core memory unlocked.
• Okay summer, we’re ready for you.

Summer time madness here we come!
Stay tuned for our next community event in June💛

Your kids can explore instruments hands-on—from a banjo to an autoharp to a guitar—
without you having to buy a single one.

All you need is a library card.

And this time…
You can touch it. Try it. AND take it home. 🎶

This Earth Day, we’re celebrating the theme “Our Power, Our Planet” by enjoying the outdoors with our families.

Music has a way of bringing people together, just like our shared responsibility to care for the planet. Whether it’s dancing at our events or simply stepping outside to enjoy the sounds of nature—today is a reminder to slow down, listen, and appreciate the world around us.

Between the amazing musical performances and the nonstop energy of the HKDM festival, the food lines never slowed down… and honestly, we get it. Every vendor brought something special, and our community loved every slice of pizza, flavorful taco, wonderpop and Italian ice cup.

To our incredible food vendors: thank you for being such a huge part of what made this day unforgettable. Y’all didn’t just feed us—you added to the joy.

Three amazing entertainers, one stage, and pure magic ✨

The trio was bringing all the energy to this year’s HKDM Festival—turning Andyroo and the Andyrooniverse ‘s Scribble Song into a full-on moment 🎶
Everyone was singing along by the end😊
