What a summer for Scouting @ St. Thomas!

Between Scouts BSA Troops 1965 and 1966, our Scouts earned more than 80 merit badges this summer, representing over 40 unique subjects ranging from traditional outdoor skills to specialized fields and career exploration. In addition, Scouts earned awards and certifications through activities such as ATV riding, snorkeling, and stand-up paddleboarding.

These achievements reflect far more than badges earned—they represent a group of adventurous, motivated young people who are eager to learn new skills, explore the outdoors, challenge themselves, and embrace new experiences. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and can't wait to see what adventures lie ahead!

Our girl's troop (Scouts BSA Troop 1965 - Clear Lake/Nassau Bay) and our boy's troop (Scouts BSA Troop 1966 - Clear Lake/Nassau Bay) have returned from summer camp and what a summer for Scouting @ St. Thomas!

Between the two troops, our Scouts earned more than 80 merit badges, representing over 40 unique subjects ranging from Astronomy to Insect Study to Welding. In addition, Scouts earned awards and certifications through activities such as ATV riding, snorkeling, and stand-up paddleboarding.

These achievements reflect far more than badges earned. They represent a group of adventurous, motivated young people who are eager to learn new skills, explore the outdoors, challenge themselves, and embrace new experiences. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and can't wait to see what adventures lie ahead!

Both troops continue to meet over the summer, planning additional activities and what's coming for the year ahead.
