Thank you for bringing the energy, the competition, the laughs, and the great sportsmanship to our Poker Tournament Fundraiser.

Whether you came ready to win, learn the game, support a friend, or simply enjoy the experience, your participation made a difference.

Because of you, we were able to raise funds that will directly support the continued mission of PPC Houston and the families we serve.

Yesterday was about so much more than cards on the table. ❤️

Our Poker Tournament Fundraiser brought together an incredible group of players, dealers, supporters, volunteers, friends, and new connections—all coming together to support the mission of PPC Houston.

Every registration, every hand played, every conversation, and every contribution helped us raise funds that will allow us to continue supporting and empowering families within our community.

To everyone who showed up, participated, donated, shared, supported, or simply helped make the day special—thank you.

We’re going ALL IN FOR A CAUSE this Sunday, September 27th, and we want the community to come out and support an amazing fundraising event benefiting two nonprofits serving children and adults with special needs.

You do not have to be a poker pro to participate. Whether you play all the time, want to try your hand at the table, or simply want to come out, eat, mingle, support the cause, and enjoy the atmosphere — you are invited!

Today, we had the opportunity to connect with the Texas Technology Access Program (TTAP) and learn more about their incredible mission of increasing access to Assistive Technology (AT) for Texans with disabilities and older adults.

Their work empowers individuals by providing access to tools and services that promote:
✨ Greater independence
✨ Increased access to education and employment
✨ More opportunities for recreation and community engagement
✨ Improved quality of life through assistive technology

We're also excited to announce that we've invited TTAP to join us as an exhibitor at our 2027 PPC Houston Masquerade Ball, where they will have the opportunity to showcase valuable resources and connect directly with the families and individuals we serve.

At Planning With Purpose and Care (PPC Houston), we believe collaboration is one of the strongest ways to create lasting impact. By connecting families with organizations like TTAP, we're helping increase awareness, improve access to life-changing resources, and build a stronger, more inclusive community.

Last week, PPC Houston had the opportunity to attend The Proximity Club Soft Launch & Networking Event, and what an incredible evening it was!

There's something powerful about bringing together entrepreneurs, professionals, nonprofit leaders, and community advocates who all believe that meaningful relationships create meaningful impact.

On Saturday we didn't just teach fire safety—we built relationships.

Thank you to the Cy-Fair Fire Department 🚒 for creating a welcoming space where families of individuals with special needs could learn, explore, ask questions, and connect with the firefighters who proudly serve our community.

Experiences like these help reduce fear, build confidence during emergencies, and remind our families that they're supported.

Thank you for making Fire Safety Day a success. We look forward to continuing this partnership for years to come.
