Team Catapult

Team Catapult 501(c)(3) non-profit aiming to CATAPULT disabled individuals over adversity and into the world of endurance sports.

Founded in 2015 by a group of like-minded triathletes and runners, Team Catapult works to become a leading organization in assisting individuals with physical disabilities with coaching, funding, training, education and open access, to the world of endurance sports. Catapult strives to help individuals who have experienced life-changing events and just want to find a hobby that can improve their w

CATAPULT will be in our community, finding these athletes, educating them, assisting them, and helping to launch them to the finish line! These are our goals as the founders of CATAPULT, and through the inspiration that the athletes provide, we cannot help but know we are going to be successful for years to come.

Welcome to Running was an adaptive-focused, overnight running and mobility training camp for athletes with a desire to begin running as a hobby, or expand their current skills as an active runner. Taking place in October 2023 in Conroe, Texas, camp programming centered around amputee, visually impaired, and pushrim (racing) wheelchair runners.

Camp would not be possible without the support from our sponsors at DICK'S Sporting Goods, Hanger Clinic, HOKA lululemon, Sap's and others!

The growth of our mission since 2015 has been truly remarkable. In January of 2016 Team Catapult hosted 5 athletes with disabilities (AWD) for the Houston Marathon. Fast forward to today (8 years) Team Catapult has fielded our largest team with 57 registered runners. Not only did we contribute to the largest AWD field in the race's history with 147 athletes, but also represented the largest AWD team from any charity organization. Team Catapult's impact does not just stop with the Houston Marathon Weekend. In 2023 Catapult gave out over $70,000 in grants to athletes with disabilities to help achieve their goals and dreams. We've hosted an annual cost-free running camp as well as bi-weekly workouts furnishing guides for our local visually impaired community.

None of this would be possible with our volunteers, guides, and especially generous donors! Our annual gala is the primary source of funding for all these programs. Our mission depends on the generous support of our donor base, and we are putting together a first class evening of food, drink, fellowship and fundraising to celebrate our amazing athletes and organization.

Please join us Friday April 5th at The Revaire Houston, as we go "All In For Team Catapult". We would love to host you and your team, and family/friends. Sponsorship packages are still available until March 1. Please reach out how you can be a part of the change you want to see
