Make way for the Catrinas and Catrines. 💀✨

The Día de los Mu***os runway show began as a grassroots tradition. Today, it’s a signature part of Death by Chocolate.

This year, you can be part of it. Join the procession and compete for a Top 3 prize selected by our panel of judges.

Participants will also compete for the Audience Favorite award, which will go to the person who raises the most through donation-based voting. It is all in good fun, with every donation helping support families in Houston’s East End.

Special thanks to Lizbeth Ortiz, La Jefa de la Pasarela, who brings the Catrinas and Catrines together each year and helps participants prepare for the event.

The Morales Memorial Foundation invests in local nonprofit organizations that create opportunities for youth and families in Houston’s Greater East End through education, cultural pride, and community support.

Since 2015, Death by Chocolate has brought together guests, sponsors, local businesses, and community partners to raise more than $250,000 in support of more than 25 nonprofit organizations.

Morales Funeral Home and The Morales Memorial Foundation are proud to give back to our community with our School Supply Giveaway! 💛

Join us as we help our students start the school year off right with supplies to get them ready for the classroom.
