THANK YOU, LAVACA COUNTY!
More than 1,500 plates sold!
From everyone with the Lavaca County Area Go Texan Committee, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who purchased a pork steak plate and supported our fundraiser.
This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, and its success is only possible because of the incredible support we receive from communities across Lavaca County. Every ticket purchased, every plate picked up, and every person who helped spread the word plays a part in what we’re working toward — supporting local students through scholarships.
We also want to thank our volunteers, committee members, participating merchants, and everyone who gave their time and effort to prepare and distribute more than 1,500 meals. It takes a lot of people working together to make an event like this happen.
Most importantly, thank you for supporting the young people of Lavaca County. That is what this is all about.
Please continue to follow the Lavaca County Area Go Texan page. Throughout the year, we’ll share scholarship opportunities and important information about our efforts to support and promote the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo right here in Lavaca County.
More than 1,500 plates. One incredible county. Thank you!
