Since its inception in April of 1988, the NSBE Houston Professionals, a Professional Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), has dedicated itself to the development of programs that will aid in the professional development of African-American and other ethnic minority professionals, in the field of engineering and engineering technology. These programs will serve to strengthen r

elationships between professional industry and the African-American community. With a reach of over 1500 professionals in Houston, employed in sectors of oil & gas, real estate, healthcare and other Fortune 500 companies, our members represent the best of Houston’s diverse STEM professionals. As an organization, our goal is to promote technical expertise, professionalism, and fellowship among studying and practicing engineers and technical professionals. The Houston Professionals chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers strives for transparent and exceptional use of all solicited and collected funds. NSBE Houston Professionals Chapter is a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code. All solicited funds collected by the organization are 100% tax deductible and can be filed as such.
