With this crazy back and forth weather, we are giving it a go for the Bikes n Brews ride this Sunday!

We will be riding from GBB at about 14-16 mph, and doing about 18 miles (depending on route).

It should be a SUNNY day, but chilly, at around 53 degrees, with a wind starting from the NW at about 4 to 9 mph, ending from the West. Final route decision by the group at ride start.

Stick around after and join us at GBB for a nice beverage, maybe get some dinner, and enjoy some social time with your cycling friends.

When: Sunday, January 18, 2026

Time: Arrive at 3:45pm for pictures and to make sure you are ready to roll out at 4:00pm SHARP

Where: Galveston Bay Brewing in Clear Lake Shores

This is a great way to get started with group riding and our club! Helmet and road ready bike required.

It may not seem like it yet, but the weather is changing (along with sunset)! So starting this Sunday, October 5, our first and third Sunday Bikes and Brews rides will roll from Galveston Bay Brewing at 4pm. Come on out for a social pace (14-16mph) ride for about 18-20 miles. Stick around after for some beer and tasty vittles! See you there!

Our first and third Sunday Bikes and Brews ride from Galveston Bay Brewing is gaining momentum! Want a chill pace (14-16) social ride to close out your weekend? Come on out. 18 miles through neighborhoods and ending with a sweep around the Shores with a nice view of the water and back to GBB for vittles and suds. We roll at 6pm. Join us!

Space City Cycling Club offers club rides Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Rides start from Trek Bicycle Clear Lake. All regular routes are 45-50 miles. June 1 - August 31, ride start is at 7am. The rest of the year, ride start is 7:30am.

Weekday ride pace depends on who shows up. Expect paces 20mph or higher, with Friday usually also having a second group around 18mph. Sundays also usually have at least two pace groups.

Saturdays are our biggest ride day. Speeds range from the Cruisers at a 15-17mph pace up to Warps at 25+.

We also offer a social pace ride (14-16mph) the first and third Sunday of the month from Galveston Bay Brewing at 6pm.

Specific ride posts are on our members only Facebook group, where we notify of any changes due to weather.

We welcome you to try out our club and join for a low $40 yearly membership fee. This provides you a discount at all Houston Trek locations and other benefits, such as member events, private Facebook group access and insurance coverage on club rides.

Thanks Tj for the leadership and determination to bring awareness to the community city leaders.
TJ worked hard on a request to the City of Deer Park for them to bring more cycling signage to the area and she made her voice be heard.
