Thank you to Dr. Felicia Harris and the Harris County Women’s Commission for hosting the inaugural Side Hustle Summit! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

With Black women being pushed out of the workforce at alarming rates, conversations about pay equity, economic security, and systemic barriers have never been more urgent.

We were proud to partner on this event and have Black Girl Caucus founder Sasha Legette join the conversation!

Drawing on her years of work fighting for workers’ rights and examining the systemic issues behind the wage gap, Sasha spoke about knowing your worth, advocating for fair pay, and why having income beyond your regular paycheck matters, especially in today’s uncertain job market.

Shoutout to all the speakers, panelists, and partners working to expand economic opportunities and build power for women!

Before you vote, make sure you know what’s TRUE.

Election season comes with a LOT of information—texts, TikToks, screenshots, group chats and posts telling you where to vote, what to bring and what to expect at the polls.

But what happens when the information you’re getting is outdated…or just plain wrong?

Join us for our next Power in Practice: Election Edition—Before You Vote, featuring Nisha Randle. We’re cutting through the noise and getting into what voters actually need to know before heading to the polls.

We’ll talk common voting questions and misinformation, what to do if you encounter an issue at the polls, and where to find answers you can trust.

No confusion. No guessing. Just good information.
