Saturday was something special.

Thank you to every woman who joined us for the Black Girl Caucus Daycation. We came together to rest, recharge and reconnect, and the day was everything we hoped it would be and more.

We talked. We laughed. We reflected. We danced. We stretched. We got pampered. We ate good. And most importantly, we gave ourselves permission to slow down and make space for ourselves.

Thank you to our incredible speakers, facilitators, wellness providers and partners who helped us create a day centered on care, joy and connection.

And to every woman who walked through those doors: thank you for showing up and making the day what it was. The energy in the room was beautiful.

We hope you left feeling a little lighter, a little fuller and reminded that taking care of yourself deserves a place on the calendar too.

Until the next Daycation. ❤️💜🩵🖤

You can’t pour from an empty cup, and burnout isn’t a badge of honor.

Black women are often expected to lead, achieve, care for everyone else, and keep pushing, no matter the personal cost. But your well-being matters, too.

Join us for the next Power in Practice Power Plays workshop, Protecting the Powerhouse: Navigating and Recovering from Burnout, led by psychologist and wellness expert Dr. LaWanda Hill.

Together, we’ll have an honest conversation about what burnout really looks like, why so many Black women experience it, and how to reclaim your energy without sacrificing your purpose.

You’ll leave with:
👉🏾 Practical tools to recognize and prevent burnout
👉🏾 Strategies for setting healthy boundaries
👉🏾 Ways to restore your energy and lead with intention
👉🏾 Permission to prioritize yourself while continuing to make an impact

Because your brilliance deserves to be sustained, not sacrificed.
