Our second delivery this month. Hygiene is PREVENTATIVE CARE. Hygiene is providing confidence. Hygiene essentials are ESSENTIAL.

So many students in Houston do not go to school due to lack of care at home. Help us change that. Our hygiene kits are filled with essentials and delivered right to their door step. Delivering is what takes us the extra mile, so many students know of resources but can not utilize them due to no transportation.

Help our youth and YA go onward with novelty.

And we hit our YEAR goal on our campaign. Over the last TWO DAYS we have raised over $500. Holy cow.

We have so many families that are being impacted with what yall are doing. THANK YOU!

I just got my phone fixed and hopefully can show you what we are doing in our Houston community. I am trying to reach out to everyone who has messages, and applied to volunteer. I truly can’t thank you enough.

I have been experiencing a decline in health over the last month but tip towing my way outside again. This has been the biggest encouragment and reminder to… KEEP GOING ONWARD FRIENDS!!!

We are in desperate need of Shower Wipes!! Over half of the people and youth we serve have no access to running water.

$26 can provide 300 people with ONE DAY of clean comfort. Something small but very impactful.

Brush those teeth, dental care is (at this point) a luxury that not many of us are able to have. Mental health and dental care truly go hand-in-hand. I’ve had my fair share of sad days/weeks where I didn’t brush or even think twice about it. I’ve had days where I feel a lot better and then beat myself up because I didn’t brush for x amount of time. Your teeth matter, not for looks and glam but for comfort.
Check your local libraryto seeifthere RE are any mobile dental units coming near you anytime soon.

Go onward with sadness, happiness, uncertainty, anger, excitement, exhaustion… just keep going.

I have struggled with mental illness for as long as I can remember. Some days are TERRIBLE. Some days I wonder why I would ever think those things. No matter what I would tell myself… just keep going onward.

Onward With Novelty is more than hygiene. It’s you going forward in your own story, no matter what it is. It’s you fighting to stay, beating the odds, and making it happen for you. Because you matter.

Some days… have more “some days”. Stay another day. Some of us only have those kind strangers to help us through our battles. Let our community help you go onward with novelty. Because you matter.

Because you matter.
Because I matter.
Say it with me “because I matter”!
I hope you choose to stay.

If you requested to volunteer, you should receive an email by this afternoon. Be on the lookout! And if you’d like to volunteer it’s not too late, see the form on our Linktree.

8/42 stops down. Let’s get it done TOGETHER!

Teach those kiddos hygiene habits and stick to it. I hear parents say too often “they never brush their teeth.” Do you make them? Do you tell them to brush with you? Do they see you brush? If you answered no to any of these questions… You may need to change your own habits. Be the example. You got this! Hold each other accountable.
