October is more than a color. It’s personal.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month begins tomorrow, and for the Flamingo Day Foundation, this month carries a meaning that goes far beyond wearing pink.
We think of Sherry.

We think of the women and families whose lives have been changed by breast cancer.

We think of those still fighting, those who survived, and those we carry with us every single day.

And we think about inflammatory breast cancer - IBC - a rare, aggressive form of breast cancer that too often remains misunderstood and overlooked.

That is why we keep talking.
Why we keep sharing.
Why we keep gathering our flock.
Why we support research.
And why we refuse to let this disease stay in the shadows.

This October, as we come together for the 15th Annual Pink Ta Ta Party on Oct 6th and the private screening of on Oct 13th, benefiting , we’re celebrating, remembering, raising awareness, and continuing a mission that started with one incredible woman.
