🌼 Pick Your Own Bouquet Day: visitors get to choose their own colorful blooms for only $10 / bouquet.
🍅 Our farm stand will also be open, offering fresh, nutritious produce at affordable prices for our neighbors. All organic! Now in season: long beans, cucumbers, collards, shiso, basil, blackberries, eggplant, tomatoes, peppers, mint, honey, and more!

As part of our collaborative work with Harris County Public Health, our WEG members participated in a nutrition class and a fun cooking demonstration! Leaders from had this to say:

“It was an exciting and unique experience to be able to educate in Swahili! We had an interactive discussion on the overview of the US food environment and the importance of making healthy food choices. In addition, we had a cooking demonstration where the participants learned a new recipe and how the use of spices can both flavor and provide health benefits. It was a warm and engaging class, and we’re looking forward to another session!”

What an incredible Bingo night for 2026! The FAM community showed up in so many ways: the spirit of joy in the room, the delight of familiar friends alongside new faces, and the generosity propelling us past our fundraising goal for a total of $37,421 raised! Thanks to everyone who volunteered, planned, donated, shared their stories, and celebrated with us. The work of FAM Houston doesn’t happen without you, and we are so grateful.
