American Legion Post 423 is an open Post. We are here to serve the veteran community & Houston community.

Hours:
Monday thru Friday 1pm - Close
Saturday 10am - Close
Sunday 11am - Close

Due to the city water system being shut off on Wednesday, August 19 for repairs we will be closing at 8 PM. We will reopen on Thursday at 1 PM.

Also, there will be no street side parking on Wednesday or Thursday due to the street repairs we will still be open.
There is parking in the alley. We just have to remember We cannot park in the Post Office parking during the day.

This Memorial Day, Houston American Legion Post #423 honors and remembers the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Today we remember our fallen heroes, honor their legacy, and express our gratitude for the freedoms they helped protect. 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 Join Houston American Legion Post #423 this Memorial Day as we come together to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Start the morning with the Boy Scouts Breakfast from 7:00–9:00 AM at the American Legion Club (free will donations with proceeds supporting the Boy Scouts and free breakfast for veterans).

Join us for a meaningful program featuring patriotic music, speakers, a roll call of those who passed, rifle salute, and Taps as we honor our fallen heroes.

Bring your family and friends as we remember, reflect, and pay tribute to those who served. 🇺🇸

In case of inclement weather, the program will be held at Houston High School Gym.
