In light of the U.S’ relentless attacks on Iran and Lebanon, SJP will be hosting a teach-in on the weaponization of Islamophobia for U.S imperial gains on Thursday, April 23rd at 5:30 PM.

Now, more than ever, it is critical to educate ourselves on the connections between the many fronts of U.S aggression, and the history of U.S imperialism. This is an opportunity you won’t want to miss!

In light of the University of Houston’s agreement to allow ice on campus, join us for an educational session with Human Rights Attorney Maria Kari & Attorney Kate Gibson Kumar to educate students about their rights in the US and more specifically on our campuses.

We’re all here to affirm everyone’s rights and to send a clear message to the oppressors, we will not be silenced.

We’ll be using common motifs & patterns from Palestinian art to create our own pieces at the end, for a chance to be featured in the Palestine Popular Press! You won’t want to miss it :)

On Thursday March 12th, the Board of Regents will be holding their board meeting at the Hilton Hotel here on campus. They have repeatedly ignored student voices, silenced concerns, and invested student fees into endeavors that do nothing to help the student body. Join us this Thursday at 11:00 am in the Student Center South Steps where we will then march to Hilton Hotel and let our voices be heard.
