We have various speakers and special guests each month and we look forward to meeting you all. For the last 10 years we have been giving out scholarships to deserving students who live within our
community. February is Black History month, our annual "Red and White Valentines Day Civic CLub Pot Luck Dinner is held on the 1st Thursday, our monthly civic club meeting day in February. March- Saturday the , annual wald around the park and heart run from 9-10 am. April- All Civic Club members and family will be going to the poles to vote. May - Salute MOthers with Roses at the civic club meeting on 3rd. June - Third Saturday in June is the annual Scholarship Casino bus trip. July - Still honoring our independence with guest speakers at the civic club meeting on July 5th. August - We represent our 2012 scholorships to our graduating recipients, meet them and encourage them to continue on the educational journey. August-6th, Each Year Rosewood Civic Club Sponsers the family National Night OUt in Rosewood Park that sits in th heart of our community on Darien and South Hall. September - The ROsewood community is responsible of serving Personal Interaction Program (PIP) at the Northeast police station, Ley Road on the second thursday from 6:00 pm.- 7:30pm. October - THe 4th Saturday, the 27th, will be our annual family night out at the Ensemble Theatre from 7 pm -9:30pm. October- Boat ride with PIP, either 2nd or 3rd Thursday
November - 4th Sunday Rosewood Civic Club will hold our annual worship and praise with Bethany Baptist Church, 7304 HOmestead ROad. December - Annual Christmas Scholarship Banquet on the 1st Saturday of December, December 1st, and will be held at Bethany Baptist CHurch from 6pm - 8:30 pm.
