In light of the recent, deeply troubling allegations and revelations surrounding Cornell and the conversations they’ve sparked, we wanted to reshare an article written in 2018 by our co-founder and president, Leigh Kohler, titled The Deception of P**n and the Power of Truth.

We believe there are deeper issues that need to be brought into the light, including what our culture accepts as right and wrong, the influence of po*******hy, how we view s*xuality, and the inherent dignity of every person made in the image of God.

Children deserve safety online, and survivors deserve support and a path to justice.

CSAM stands for child s*xual abuse material. It is evidence of real abuse—and every time it is created or shared, a child’s privacy and dignity are violated again.

The bipartisan STOP CSAM Act would strengthen protections for survivors and push technology companies to take greater responsibility for preventing and reporting this abuse. It is still proposed legislation, and IJM is asking people to urge Congress to pass it.

What is the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA)?

It’s a bill designed to make online platforms safer for children and teens. It would give young people more control over their privacy and the features they use, set stronger protections by default, and require platforms to take steps to address risks such as s*xual exploitation, eating disorders, and su***de.

In other words, it asks technology companies to take greater responsibility for how their platforms are designed and the risks young people may face online.

KOSA needs a vote in the Senate this month. Join us in urging Senate leaders to bring it to the floor without weakening its protections. Sign the petition through the link in our bio.

A recent nationwide human trafficking operation brought together law enforcement across 22 states, resulting in 125 arrests and the identification of 79 potential victims, including five children.

At Freedom Church Alliance, we believe collaboration is key in the fight against human trafficking. No single organization, agency or church can do this work alone.

This operation shows what becomes possible when people work together—sharing information, resources and responsibility to identify exploitation and protect those experiencing it.

The same is true in our communities. When churches, nonprofits, law enforcement and service providers each bring what they have, our collective response becomes stronger.

Freedom happens when we fight together.

Most of us will never see the moment a GoBag is handed to a survivor.

The work is often quiet: a church packs them, volunteers quality check them, and an organization places the bag into someone’s hands when it is needed most.
