Cataract Awareness Month reminder: coverage can protect the ability to manage daily life. Donate to ECHOS to help more neighbors get connected to care.
More than 20 million Americans age 40 and older have cataracts, including people who are working, driving, caregiving, raising families, and doing their best to stay on track.
With coverage, cataract surgery can be scheduled, with a doctor, a plan, and a clear next step.
Without coverage, the same treatable condition can create daily risks: trouble reading forms or medication labels, missed work, unsafe driving, fear of falling, and waiting because care feels out of reach.
The difference is not medical possibility. The difference is access, and that is why ECHOSโ work matters.
