Last week, Youth Development Center Houston and Houston Independent School District partnered to hand out backpacks and school supplies to students and their families. Gratitude to all of our volunteers and donors who showed up despite the heat to support families in Northeast Houston: Doug Kelly, Laura Kelly and Friends, Bethel's Global Ministry, and Jeffrey King Kawasaki Peck of W.E.B. Du Bois Legacy Foundation.

We look forward to welcoming Youth Development Center Houston students back to the center on August 24th for the beginning of our after-school program and hope that all of our students, their families, teachers, and educational staff have a wonderful Back-to-School season!

It is almost time to attend Bon Vivant 2026. This year’s lineup offers 13 returning chefs. We are counting down to a night filled with exciting food and auction items, and we appreciate every chef and restaurant that continues to make this a “must-attend” event in Houston!

Where will you be on Monday, May 11, 2026? We’ll be at Four Seasons, and individual seats are still available. All proceeds benefit at-risk students in Northeast Houston.
