The Houston Kenshikan is a non-profit organization that provides high quality instruction to students in the Houston area. Our teaching methods are among the most efficient and enable students to practice good Kendo for life. We understand Kendo is a significant commitment and can ensure that your efforts will produce results, both on and off the floor. The Houston Kenshikan is one of a few Dojos

20th Longhorn Taikai in Austin, Texas
We sent 2 teams, as well as 3 shinpan. B team was captained by Cougar Kendo at the University of Houston president Ben. First timer and Cougar Kendo member Jay was able to win his first match despite having less than a year of experience. Marco of Orlando Kendo joined A team again, and A team made it to the quarterfinals, losing to 2nd place Plano. The organization was excellent, great effort by everyone!
