It is with heave heart to share the heartbreaking news of the passing of an extraordinary man. Abdul Rahman Niazi was a beloved husband, a devoted father, and an inspiring member of the Afghan community. I vividly remember when my wife and I visited him and his family in 2022 to interview him for another project. I had the privilege of sitting down with him, chatting, and meeting his wonderful children.

The news of his tragic murder has left me in awe. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this holy month of Ramadan. I sincerely hope his family receives the justice they deserve.

Rest in peace, Niazi.
