We were honored to join the Cj Stroud Foundation at the Houston Texans YMCA where our Have Shears Will Travel and Shear Success Academy team had the privilege of connecting with so many amazing families and handing out free hairstyle vouchers to help kids head into the school year with confidence 💙🎒

Thank you to the C.J. Stroud Foundation for creating such an impactful event and for making us feel so welcomed. It was an honor to be part of a day dedicated to serving our Houston community 🏈

☀️ Summer of Shear Success is here! ☀️

This summer, we’re proud to welcome four new scholarship students to Shear Success Academy. We’re so proud to introduce each of them and share the unique journeys that brought them here!

Join us in welcoming our newest students as they begin building careers, confidence, and brighter futures💙✂️

* Meet Tommy: For Tommy, this scholarship is more than financial support - it’s an answered prayer he calls a “blessing from God.” Grateful for the opportunity to earn his barber license, he’s ready to build a successful career doing what he loves.

* Meet Darlene: A devoted single mother of seven, she’s never stopped dreaming of becoming a barber. This scholarship is giving her the opportunity she’s been waiting for to invest in herself - and her family’s future.

* Meet Herman: After a devastating workplace accident ended his career and livelihood in the chemical plants, taking the life of a dear friend and coworker, Herman - a devoted single father of two - is now pursuing a dream he has carried for years: building a new future through barbering

* Meet Jonathan: Jonathan has spent years working tirelessly to create opportunities for himself as a traveling musician. With the support of a Shear Success scholarship, he’s finally able to turn a lifelong passion for barbering into a sustainable career
