As many of you know, last year was a challenge, but this year has been particularly difficult. I am doing everything in my power to ensure that our operations continue to run smoothly, but this month we have found ourselves struggling financially. After 38 years of rescue work, failure is not an option; the animals count on me to come through for them no matter what life throws our way.

Between recent transports and several dogs arriving last month with significant medical needs, we are currently in a deep financial hole. I am reaching out to ask for your support. Dear Friends and Supporters,

I am reaching out tonight as I reflect on the journey of the last 38 years. While I trust that we are never given more than we can handle, the challenges regarding our property negotiations and the current state of donations have been heavy on my heart.

We are currently experiencing an unprecedented low in donations, and our needs remain constant. We are in need of dog and cat food, flea medicine, wormer, and cleaning supplies such as paper towels, Clorox bleach, and Odoban. Additionally, help with our outstanding vet bills is greatly appreciated as we continue to provide care for animals like our newest resident, Georgie who will need a heartworm treatment I'm trying to get him into the vet week he is a big boy. Georgie is a beautiful, loving dog who is looking for a patient home, and I have included a video of him for you to see.

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Christmas is right around the corner, and I know everyone gets busy with the hustle and bustle. However, please remember the dogs are still here, and the cats too!

I'd like to share some updates on a few of our residents. Crash, who is now named Phoenix, is doing wonderfully after his surgery and a long fight to live. He is a young boy, only a year old, and needs a forever home—someone to love him forever. He is healthy now and ready to go home. If you have a forever home for him, remember we can arrange transport. He would make a wonderful companion, loves other dogs, is very loving, and enjoys people.

Then we have Cyrus. Cyrus has had two hip surgeries and is currently undergoing physical therapy. God willing, he will be ready to go home next year. We also recently rescued a little matted poodle the other day—we named him Kris Kringle—who is doing much better.

We have had so many animals dumped on us this year. Both last year and this year have been very hard, but we haven't given up because the animals count on us.

I want to thank everyone who has kept us going—those who have helped with vet bills, dog food, cat food, flea medication, and cleaning supplies. We truly appreciate all of your support.

Please check out our Amazon and Chewy wish list on our website; we can always use supplies. But most of all, for Christmas, we would love for our dogs to find forever homes. Pets are a lifetime commitment, not just for Christmas. I am going into my 37th year of rescue and have never seen it this bad.

To all the people who are our lifeline

August and September have been incredibly busy months for us! This week alone, we have five dogs and one cat scheduled for spaying. We are reaching out to see how many of you can sponsor or donate towards these crucial procedures.
