What happens when you bring together passionate content creators, podcasters, social media professionals and communications leaders? You Illuminate!

We were excited to be part of Illuminate: The Content Creator Experience in Houston—an inspiring event designed to help creators sharpen their voice, grow their impact and turn ideas into opportunities.

A special shoutout to PRSA Houston President Angelique Myers for joining the conversation and to Kami Huyse for sharing her insights during “Stop Sounding Like Everyone Else Who Uses AI.” session.

Kami challenged creators to think beyond generic AI-generated content and learn how to capture their own authentic voice so AI becomes a tool that enhances creativity—not something that makes everyone sound the same.

The event was hosted by Britney Alston (formerly Crosson), Founder of Fun Love Media, and Freddy Cruz, Founder of Speke Podcasting, who brought together social media creators and podcasters for a day of learning, connection and inspiration.

What an incredible evening of connection, conversation and inspiration! ✨

A huge thank you to the PRSA Foundation for bringing the Student Summit to Houston and investing in the next generation of public relations professionals. Your commitment to helping students connect with industry leaders and build meaningful relationships is making an impact.

We were honored to support with the University of Houston Jack J. Valenti School of Communication and UH PRSSA Chapter, bringing students and PR professionals together for an engaging conversation about the future of our industry.

And what a powerhouse panel! Thank you to Warren Robinson, Monica Silva Kaus and Kristal Howard for sharing your expertise, experiences and advice with the next generation of communicators.
