Hey All! We are thinking about doing a Christmas happy hour for the GHBC, similar to last year, as opposed to a Christmas party. Thinking Wednesday, December 11th. Maybe from 4-6. We’re contemplating highline park in MKT. would love it it if we can get a feel for who all could make it! was thinking donations to the longest Day as opposed to a toy drive.

DAY 4 after Hip Surgery....
If any of you are considering a Hip replacement....I can't tell you enough how much I recommend the somewhat non-invasive ANTERIOR APPROACH.
Let's just get to it....surgery SUCKS...I 've never had surgery before and I HATE this recuperating phase. I don't even want to think about how bad it would be with them cutting through muscles on the other approaches.
Day 1 was a BIG TEASE.....I had so much pain blockers that I woke up feeling so good that I wanted to get up and go out to lunch!
That is all completely gone now....and I have this crazy horrible burning if I stretch too much.
What is keeping me going though....is that ALL of that pain and discomfort from my hip is GONE....and I know that once I'm over this hurdle....WATCH OUT WORLD!!!!
