Second Servings of Houston Building a healthier Houston by providing access to nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste.

Second Servings is Houston’s only perishable food rescue organization. Since 2015, the nonprofit has been building a healthier community by providing access to nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste. Second Servings picks up unsold and unserved food from over 450 food businesses, and delivers it promptly and safely, for free, to 150 local nonprofit partners. Big round of applause for our wonderful partner, CITGO Fueling Good! 👏 We are wrapping up Hunger Action Month with a fully fueled fleet of refrigerated vans, and CITGO is keeping them fueled throughout the holidays, our busiest time of year! ⛽️✨

But their impact doesn't stop at the pump. The CITGO team has also been stepping up to volunteer at several “PopUp Grocery Store” events. Thank you, CITGO, for fueling good and helping us nourish our Houston community! 💙
