From the Ashes Theatre Company is now accepting script submissions for our 2026–2027 Season, themed Mystery & Adventure.
For this season, we’re seeking stories filled with suspense, intrigue, bold journeys, and unexpected turns — scripts that keep audiences leaning forward and wondering what happens next.
As a Houston-based theatre, we are committed to fostering growth and cultivating a collaborative, supportive environment for artists. We believe new work deserves thoughtful development and an intentional path from page to stage.
We recently had the privilege of producing AI Love You by Houston playwright Brian Tighe, working closely with him to bring his original script to life on our stage. Supporting local playwrights isn’t just something we talk about — it’s something we actively do.
We’re especially drawn to:

🗺 Adventures that move both the characters and the audience somewhere unexpected
