REGATTA REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

Join us Saturday, October 3, for the Annual Greens Bayou Regatta. The race begins at Brock Adventure Park and concludes 7.7 miles down the bayou at Thomas Bell Foster Park. Participants receive a race t-shirt and enjoy an after-party which includes music, awards, beverages, and the best lunch on the bayou!

Whether you'd like to paddle competitively, recreationally, be a race sponsor, or collect floatable trash while competing for the coveted "Styrofoam Cup," go to our website to reserve your spot and get more information about this event. See you in October!

WHAT'S NEW ON THE BAYOU? The Osprey Litter Boom installed on the bayou on June 9th at Brock Adventure Park is doing its job, keeping floatable trash from making its way to the Gulf! The garbage gathered will be collected each week and disposed of properly. Thanks to Natasha Zamstorff and Rachel Thorn at Galveston Bay Foundation for working so hard to make this happen!

Harris County Flood Control District is offering virtual information sessions about the recently released DRAFT floodplain maps from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
