The 2026 Greens Bayou Regatta was a great success!

A huge THANK YOU to all our fabulous sponsors, volunteers, partners and everyone who helped make this event possible.

It was wonderful to see so many incredible paddlers come together to enjoy Greens Bayou, connect with nature, and celebrate our beautiful waterways.

Take me to the water!

WHAT'S NEW ON THE BAYOU?
Today the Coalition staff, and our just-retired board chair, Robert Fiederlein, Vice President of Planning and Infrastructure at North Houston District, spent several hours cutting the ties and removing the stakes from the trees planted during Phase I of GREEN UP GREENS BAYOU (at the advice of Texas A&M Forest Service). This very hot and strenuous work serves two purposes: The trees can better grow and flourish, and we will recycle the stakes for Phase IV of GREEN UP GREENS BAYOU, which is scheduled for November 4. It was a great day out on the bayou!

Last night, Greens Bayou Coalition participated in a virtual public meeting regarding the Harris County Drainage Master Plan.
During the meeting, residents and community organizations were encouraged to share their drainage concerns through an interactive map. We invite you to explore the map to see where drainage projects may occur and share any drainage concerns or questions you may have.
Your input is valuable and can help inform future drainage improvements in Harris County.
