We are proud to announce a new Collective Bargaining Agreement with Queensbury Theatre under the leadership of Kristina Sullivan - Executive Director and Marco Camacho - Artistic Director! 🤝

This new agreement extends through August 31, 2027, securing our musicians a competitive wage and a strong pension contribution, among other benefits and premiums. HPMA is grateful to the Queensbury Orchestra Committee Jeanette Stenson, Emily Zelaya and Corey Dozier for their efforts. 🎶

After an 18 month negotiation, our Theatre Under The Stars Negotiating Committee, chaired by TMA Board Member, Bob Walzel, have ratified a new Collective Bargaining Agreement with management extending through August of 2028 👏

Significant terms achieved by the committee include:
• Protective disciplinary and dismissal language
• Establishing a new premium rate for overtime
• Increased doubling percentages
• Increased cartage rates
• Additional rehearsal pay for keyboardist on programmed keyboards
• Stronger contractor hiring language
• Preserving core status
• Strengthening section leader recommendations
• Preserving 21 player and largest orchestration minimums
• 12% increase in compensation over 4 years
