Veterans Behavioral Health at MHA Greater Houston The Harris County Veterans Behavioral Health Initiative is a program of Mental Health America of Greater Houston dedicated to veterans' mental wellness.

PLEASE SHARE: City Council Recognizes Children's Mental Health in Houston, Texas -- Mental Health America of Greater Houston and our Center for School Behavioral Health received recognition this Mental Health Month at the City of Houston Council Meeting where Mayor ProTem Ellen Cohen proclaimed Greater Houston Children’s Mental Health Week in May. Sylvester Turner, Mayor of Houston also recognized the organization and its programming for its dedication and work throughout the region with schools, districts and communities. This is an annual recognition first established in 2015 as part of the organization’s children’s mental health anti-stigma and public awareness efforts.
