Upon returning for school break we asked the new Senior 1 students to write a note to share their experiences. This is part of what Isaac wrote:

"I am filled with gratitude and joy. It is said that 'a grateful heart is a magnet for miracles.' And truly, your generosity has been nothing short of miraculous in our lives.

You have not only paid for our school fees, but you have also clothed us, fed us and your support has lifted a heavy burden from our shoulders and allowed us to focus on our studies and dreams without worry.

Education is the greatest gift of life one can receive, and through your kindness, you have shown us that success is not achieved alone, but through the compassion and investment of those who believe in us."

I don’t know that anyone could have said it any better. It’s such a blessing to be part of this ministry and to witness what God is doing in the lives of the children.

Thank you for investing in the lives of these children who otherwise had zero hope of an education.

2015 vs 2026 - The way God has sustained the ministry and provided for our children for this long is so humbling. I love seeing old pictures pop up and knowing how much the children have grown and how far God has brought each of them. Ruth is youngest of 3 children. The father left them when Ruth was very small. Her mother, Hellen, is a nurse at the nearby hospital struggling to provide and was not able to help them with school fees.

We have soooooo many children on our waiting list with similar life circumstances to Ruth. You can make a life changing difference today. $20 a month does that.

Our Senior 1 students have returned from their first term of secondary schools. They all did really really well in the classrooms but were given some deductions because they didn’t have a few required items that we were not aware of and are not in our budget.

Akigyeno School students Rebecca and Michael have qualified for the Uganda NATIONALS track and field competition!!!! This is Rebecca’s second year at Nationals. They left today for two weeks of training with the other kids from our district. Please keep them in your prayers as they prepare for the competition.

PRAISE REPORT - Evaline has been blessed with a sponsor! There are many more waiting children in our website.

This little dear child has gone through a lot of tragedy in her short life. Her mother passed away when she was 2 years old. She is one of 3 young children left behind. Evaline’s grandmother and aunt have been trying to raise the children. Then…in December the grandmother passed away. Now that just leaves the Aunt to raise these young children.

Evaline’s aunt, Hellen, is a student at Akigyeno School. All this loss has caused Hellen a lot of distractions with school but she’s doing her best. The only way I knew we could definitely help is to have Evaline at school so that she can eat two meals a day and that in turn helps Hellen too.
