Yesterday, members of Pearly Gate Court #98 and the young ladies of Sarah G. Smith Youth Palace #26 had the honor of spreading a little Mother’s Day love and appreciation to the beautiful residents of Nixon’s Assisted Living.

From flowers and gift bags to hugs, smiles, and heartfelt conversations, this was more than community service — it was a reminder that kindness, compassion, and sisterhood still matter.

We are proud to serve our community while teaching our youth the importance of giving back, honoring our elders, and leading with love. 💐❤️

A special thank you to everyone who donated, participated, and helped make this visit meaningful for the residents. Your kindness made yesterday truly special.

Pearly Gate Court No. 98 joins the nation in mourning the passing of Jesse Jackson, a towering figure in the fight for justice, equality, and human dignity.

Rev. Jackson dedicated his life to service, advocacy, and uplifting the voices of those too often unheard. His courage, faith, and unwavering commitment to civil rights leave a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire generations.

We extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to his family, loved ones, and all who were touched by his life and work. May his soul rest in peace, and may we honor his legacy through continued service and unity.

Today, we pause to honor the life, legacy, and leadership of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
His courage, conviction, and commitment to justice continue to inspire generations.

As members of Pearly Gate Court No. 98 Heroines of Jericho, we reflect on the values Dr. King stood for—faith, integrity, unity, and love for humanity.

May we carry his words in our hearts and his example in our actions, not just today, but always.

Today, service took center stage.
Members of Pearly Gate Court No. 98 and Sarah G. Smith Youth Palace #26 joined our brothers and sisters of Prince Hall District 15 to serve Thanksgiving dinner to the seniors at the Acres Homes Multi-Service Center — and the energy was nothing short of beautiful.

It wasn’t just about a meal… it was about presence, connection, and honoring the elders who paved the way for us.
The smiles, the stories, the gratitude — that’s the real blessing.

Community is our calling, and today we showed up together.
