Space HL is excited to announce a great new collaboration and effort with Sequoia Telehealth, Star of Hope, and Houston Rescue Clinic happening today! It’s been a long year and we have been dedicating our time to help our community in such a time of need. Through strong partnerships we can and will overcome these hardships.
Sequoia Medical Practice in collaboration with Space HL, Houston Rescue Clinic, and, will work directly with Star of Hope to donate Blood Pressure machines, Digital Scales and Free Health Screening Vouchers. It is with this health and wellness partnership that we hope to better serve our communities and provide much needed services and opportunities in these times of need.
Daily monitoring of blood pressure and weight are some of the easiest ways to prevent many diseases such as; hypertension, diabetes, heart failure, and obesity. The importance of maintaining a healthy weight is multifaceted. Lifelong heart health, diabetes prevention, heart failure prevention as well as prevention of fluid overload for heart failure patients. With the over abundance of waste and often times failures within the cracks of insurance for patients we have arrange hundreds of pieces of equipment to be donated to the Star of Hope rehabilitation center to better service their residents. Through future schedule checkups and visits we can make a better and healthier future. We look forward to sharing more with you as we forward on this new partnership for Health and Wellness!
