Today is the International Day of Nonviolence. Nonviolence has shaped my whole life and it takes the strongest type of courage. It isn't passive acceptance. It's peaceful resistance.

A culture of nonviolence doesn't weaken the fight against injustice. It strengthens it. And our greatest nonviolent tool is the right to vote.
