Oh Elohim(God) Of Creation, Give Me Strength.

Lord, You say in Isaiah 40:31, “But those who hope in YHWH(Lord)will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint. "

As we remember You as our Strength today, help us to ponder this in our hearts. We ask that You would do what You say You will and renew us. When we feel we are at our end, when we are weary, tired, or heavily burdened, give us renewal in You. Strength us to new heights that only You can. We praise You in advance for the ways that You give to us all that we need each day. Give us the vision to see from Your perspective that You are working everything out in Your way and in Your time. Even when life feels hard or taxing, remind us of Your grace on the journey and that You are always by our sides. Amen

Never Accept Defeat In Your Journey

Even in the darkest moments, there is light if you trust and depend on YHWH, it reveal itself. Doubt is a destroyer produced by the mind, and courage is the tool of upliftment within our soul. In our agony many times the secret of our greatness is hidden.

(1 Corinthians 16:13-14)
13 Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. 14 Do everything in love.

(Ephesians 6:13)
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

Self-Righteousness

Never rely on your own good deeds or assume that Elohim(God) is blessing you because you deserve it.

Moses assured the Israelites that Elohim(God) will give them the conquest of Canaan. He warned them three times lest they presume that their righteousness provided sufficient merit for their success. Moses had already told them that their future success would be guaranteed “because” of their obedience to the commandments. The people of Israel might naturally assume, then, that success was an indication of their own righteousness.

We might be prone to make a similar mistake. A pastor with a successful, growing congregation might assume that he is in Elohim’s(God’s) favor because of the numbers. A businessman who lands a lucrative contract may suppose that he is being rewarded for his godliness.

If the children of Israel did not deserve to take possession of the land, why did God give it to them? Moses gave two reasons: The sin of the Canaanites and the covenant promises to the patriarchs.

It Is not for your righteousness or for the uprightness of your heart that you are going to possess their land, but it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the YAHWEH(LORD) your God is driving them out before you, in order to confirm the oath which the YAHWEH(LORD) swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Deuteronomy 9:5).

For the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would be heir of the world was not through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith. (Romans 4:13)
